Why do some products at HIDevolution cost more than the manufacturer's suggested retail price? Why does the same product on HIDevolution.com cost more on Amazon and Newegg?

HIDevolution understands that customers may be disappointed by the increasing costs of consumer goods such as computers. We do our best to set fair pricing based on our costs and market conditions. There are a few factors that go into pricing our products.

1) Operations Cost - We guarantee our best pricing on HIDevolution.com (please contact us if you see a discrepancy and we will be happy to help address it). Marketplaces like Amazon and Newegg take up to a 10% selling fee from the total price. On marketplaces, our pricing takes into account the costs of selling on that platform in addition to the operation costs of the business.

2) Vendor Cost - Our costs can vary among vendors, and we adjust product pricing accordingly.

3) Supply/Demand - We may only have a handful of a particular model available during periods of low supply and high demand. Usually such periods are only temporary, and we adjust pricing up/down accordingly.

HIDevolution is an authorized build to order (BTO) dealer of most of the brands we carry. When you buy a computer from HIDevolution, you are also receiving after sales technical support and warranty service from our expert staff.

The value we offer is custom upgrades that improve performance/reliability and are covered under warranty and facilitating technical support and warranty service for customers around the world.

When you order with any changes to the original manufacturer’s stock configuration or choose any service options from us, we will perform a full quality check – ensure latest stable BIOS firmware and drivers are installed, burn in stress testing for temperature, benchmark testing to ensure it is performing to standard, keyboard and touchpad test, check of ports for functionality, display check for abnormalities, and a physical check of the chassis for blemishes. You can also make notes to the technician if you would like us to look for something specific. A product that passes through our hands has a much lower chance of DOA (defect on arrival).
